Klondike Solitaire
Klondike Solitaire
Klondike Solitaire is the classic version of solitaire most people recognize—the one with the stack of cards you sort into neat piles. You start with seven rows of cards, each row growing longer than the last. The goal is to move all the cards into four piles at the top, one for each suit, starting with the Ace and ending with the King.
You can only stack cards in alternating colors and descending order on the main board—like putting a red 6 on a black 7. If you uncover an Ace, you move it to the top and begin building that suit. You draw cards from the deck when you’re stuck, hoping the next one will help you open up more moves.
Even though it’s simple, Klondike can be tricky. You need to plan ahead, clear columns to reach hidden cards, and use the deck wisely. It’s one of those games that’s easy to learn but keeps you thinking every time you play. Whether you’re aiming for speed or just passing time, it always offers a calm little challenge.
